Sorry I haven’t updated for a while, but I wrote a colossal post here to make up for it ^^;;;
Several pins involving characters from the Latin America films have been manufactured for various occasions. Many of these photos come from http://dizzipinz.com and can be bought there. You can click the thumbnails for full-size images.
You can view a complete list (with images) of all the pins featuring the 3 caballeros, Panchito, whatever, by doing a search at http://www.pinpics.com
Here’s one from an earlier year with Panchito on it. From http://going24-7.com And here’s yet another cinco de mayo one with Panchito.

Jose Carioca FOR SOME REASON representing the EPCOT Mexico pavillion. NOTE: MEXICO!!!!!! Not Brazil!
Disney pin designer 1: Hey, what should we use for Mexico?
Disney pin designer 2: Duh, I dunno. How about that parrot? They have parrots in Mexico.
1: Yeah, that’s the ticket!
normal person: Isn’t Panchito from Mexico?
2: Duh, what’s wrong with you? And who’s Panchito?
Very very interesting, part of a “California History” series, this one illustrates the missions.
Here’s a very nice one for the 3 caballeros 60th anniversary.
Adorable “Feliz Navidad” with the caballeros and Mickey and Minnie.
A rarity! The cold-blooded penguin from The Three Caballeros.
For annual passholders to Disneyland. Cute theme, I guess, but Panchito looks a little too excited. Maybe he just walked outta that bar in the background >: )
- If you scroll down this page, they have a nice one for Mexican Independence Day with a big ol’ Mexican flag and the caballeros.
This one was for Mardi Gras at WDW, and it’s so fitting, considering José’s first comic strip was “the carnival king” and he’s from RIO DE JANEIRO! Here’s another one, for carnival, and one of Panchito from the Mardi Gras set.
- Apparently, they did a series of state pins once, and Jose Carioca was on the one for New Mexico. NEW MEXICO? Panchito, where are you? He’s not even on a pin!? There’s no excuse for this, Panchito should have been the one for New Mexico.

A Saludos Amigos pin that somehow has Panchito on it. He shouldn’t be there! Yet another one, supposedly for Saludos Amigos’ 60th anniversary, makes the same mistake! And so does this one! What’s going on here!?
NO WAY SHOULD YOU BE THERE, Stitch. There you have it folks, a caballero who can actually sing worse than Donald.
- The rest of these wouldn’t let me link to the pictures, but you can see them if you click the links.
-
- 1945 (millenium countdown series) – 3 caballeros on serape
- Another “year pin” for the 100 years of magic – 1944 for the 3 caballeros.
- Another cute generic 3 caballeros pin.
- This one’s really creepy, it’s the 3 caballeros as piñatas. It’s from a Small World set.
- Pedro the Plane from Saludos Amigos.

Pingback by Disney 50 States Pins « Latin Baby ~ Disney’s Latin America Features June 15, 2008 @ 2:39 pmThere’s more of those pins than I thought. I hate Stitch. Raining on their fiesta. I like how Jose’s the only one who notices. And I guess nobody want’s a Saludos Amigos pin unless it has Panchito, if they don’t wantt be correct. I bet Jose would have a ball at Mardi Gras, not as fun as Carnival though.
