Free and amazing music from the films.

Kiddierecords.com digitizes old children’s 78s and puts them on the internet! They’ve done this for the albums of Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros! The versions are not all the ones from the films, but they’re closer than some of the renditions on that dumb Saludos Amigos combo album I bought off iTunes.
I swear that when I was a kid, I had a rendition of “The 3 Caballeros” song on tape that had the characters singing it, and the spanish verse. For now, content yourself with this:

And it has subtitles, how nice! So you can sing the Spanish!

It’s hard for me to pick a favorite song from the films (especially if you count “Blame it on the Samba,”) but I absolutely love “Baía.” “Tico-Tico,” “Aquarela do Brasil,” “Blame it on the Samba,” and “You Belong to my Heart” also rock my world. It’s impossible to pick one, I love them all! ^_^

Now, this is in Spanish, but it has the entirety of José’s “Have You Been to Baía?” song, followed by the entire jungle train scene (cuteness!) and the great dance and song routine for “Os Quindins de Yayá,” a great song.

According to some random comments, this video is not entirely accurate because most people from Bahia are black.

Great song and amazing blending of live action and animation. I love when all the houses start dancing and when they are walking down the street with the lady.

Enjoy!
